How to reach us

Email tips@warinfohub.com — read only by the research desk. Use a personal email address rather than a work or institutional one if the tip is sensitive.

What makes a good tip

The most useful tips are specific and checkable: a development we have not covered, a document or dataset worth reading, a satellite image or official statement we should see, or an error in our reporting. Include dates, places, and links wherever possible — the more we can independently verify, the faster we can act.

Anonymity

You may request anonymity, and we will honor it: we do not publish the names of confidential sources, and we strip identifying metadata before handling submitted files. If you need stronger protection — for example, you are sharing from inside a conflict zone — say so in your first message and we will agree on a safer channel before you send anything substantive.

What not to send

Do not send graphic imagery of casualties, gore, or suffering — we will not open it and cannot use it. Do not send material obtained illegally, classified documents you are not authorized to share, or instructions facilitating wrongdoing. Tips that amount to unverifiable rumor will be treated as leads, not as publishable fact: everything we publish must be confirmed by credible, attributable reporting.

What happens next

We read every tip but cannot reply to all of them. If your lead checks out and becomes a story, it will appear on the site with our standard sourcing — never with your name attached unless you explicitly ask to be credited.
